TIM 2.1 Release

Dear TIM-User,

It’s TIMe for a new release! It’s been a while since we’ve re-decorated TIM’s GUI, so we worked hard on some cool new features again. The 5 new main functionalities will be discussed briefly below:

NOTE: TIM backoffice needs to be updated before using TIM 2.1

Item Availability
This long expected feature synchronizes the item availability with Aloha. Every time the user enters the menu the availability will be synced. Also while ordering the count will be reduced and the user will be unable to order un-available items.

Express order
This terrace-feature will reduce the TIMe needed for the well-known: “2 beers and the check please.” The user is able to navigate directly from the confirmation screen to the payments screen by swiping the pay-button to the right. The swipe is there for a reason so it can’t be pressed by accident.

Ask printer by guestcheck
Are you not using Bluetooth printers yet? That’s a shame, please contact our office! On the other hand, with this new feature the user is able to print on any printer he/she wants. TIM will ask where you would like to print your guest check with every (automated) print command. You will never have to search or walk for miles to get your guest check.

Comp/void approval by manager
Insufficient access level for comps or voids? No worries, the manager can now approve the comp or void with TIM. Password, QR code or magswipe will all be accepted by TIM.

Diagnostics
This feature will probably never be used but can be an asset in solving potential issues with TIM. In this screen you’ll find all relevant information to help our support team solve your TIM issues.

On our TIM-wiki (TIM user manual 2.1) you will find all information regarding TIM and all new features are added to our user manual. Have a quick look to see if these new features will help you with your efficiency but remember “TIMe is Money!”
