TIM 2.2 Release

Dear TIM-User,

Hereby we present you TIM 2.2! In this ‘summer-release’ we’ve added some new functionalities that in our opinion should help with the efficiency in your operation. The new functionalities will be discussed briefly below:

 NOTE: the TIM backoffice needs to be updated before using TIM 2.2

iZettle (currently the Netherlands only)

After a long search we found a mobile payment partner in iZettle. In combination with the iZettle Card Reader Pro we are now able to send mobile payments through TIM. Almost all payment solutions are accepted, including contactless (NFC) and Apple Pay. Think about the TIM(e) you can save with this solution in combination with the Bixolon Bluetooth printers. Also we take away human errors regarding filling in the amount on the card terminal. Last but not least one of the biggest flaws for guests is waiting for the check or waiting to pay for it; no need for this potential bad guest experience anymore with iZettle!

Table Filter

With this filter we can hide tables in the table overview based on Revenue Centers defined in Aloha. Tables can always be opened with the ‘+’ (new table) even though they are hidden by the filter.

Item Availability overview

Next to the Item Availability in the submenu’s we’ve now added an overview with all items with limited or no availability. This way a waiter can quickly skim the list before taking an order at the table.

What’s NEW?!

The What’s NEW?! functionality is back! When the user opens the app for the first time we will show all new functionalities for this build. Later, the user is always able to see what’s new in the functions menu.

On our TIM-wiki (TIM user manual 2.2) you will find all information regarding TIM and all new features are added to our user manual. Have a quick look if these new features will help you with your efficiency but remember “TIMe is Money!”
